How the builds work.
Fast by default
Static HTML, optimized images, no CMS overhead. Loads in under a second on phones.
Mobile-first
Most of your visitors are on phones. The site is designed for them first, and desktop is the bonus.
You own it
No platform lock-in. The files are yours. You can host wherever you want and switch maintainers whenever.
Want to see what one looks like?
You're looking at one. The Peak Labs site itself is built with the same tools and approach we'd use for your project.
The process, start to finish.
Discovery call
30-minute video chat. Share what you need, who it's for, and roughly when you want it live.
Quote
Within 24 hours, you'll get a written quote and a timeline. Approve it and work begins.
Build
A draft build lands on a private preview link, and we run through a round or two of feedback together.
Launch
Site goes live on your domain. You take it from there, or sign up for monthly maintenance.
Common questions
What kind of sites do you build?
Modern static sites: homepages, marketing sites, small-business landing pages, basic portfolios. The same kind of site you're looking at right now. Not WordPress, not bloated SaaS templates. Fast, clean, and the files stay yours.
Can I host the site myself?
Yes, and it's recommended for most people. Free hosts like Vercel and Cloudflare Pages handle these kinds of sites at zero cost. Peak Labs will set you up so you can deploy with one command, or take on hosting for you if you'd rather not deal with it.
What's actually in the maintenance subscription?
Content updates (text, images, prices), bug fixes, broken link patches, dependency updates, and a regular check that everything is still working. The Basic tier covers about an hour of work a month; Plus covers two. If you only need updates twice a year, just pay for a one-off when you need them.
Can I cancel the subscription?
Anytime, no questions, no fees. The site stays up. You just stop paying for the maintenance. If you're hosting it yourself, nothing changes. If Peak Labs is hosting, we'll help migrate the files wherever you want.
Do you do redesigns?
Yes. If you have an existing site that's outdated or stuck on a platform like Wix or Squarespace and you want to escape, that's the same as a one-time build. Book a call and we'll talk through what's involved.
How long does a build take?
Most simple sites are done in a week from the kickoff call. Bigger ones take 2 to 3 weeks. You'll get a firm timeline at the end of the discovery call.
