Common questions
How long does a typical repair take?
Most jobs are done in 1–3 days. Every quote includes an estimated completion date, and if anything pushes past it, you'll hear about it as soon as we know.
Do you do remote support?
Sometimes. Software-only issues (slow PC, virus cleanup, account setup) can often be handled remotely over a screen-share, usually for less than the in-shop rate. Email a description of what's going on and Peak Labs will let you know.
Card or cash?
Both. A Square card reader accepts any chip or tap card. Cash is fine too, rounded to the nearest dollar.
What if you can't fix it?
If a machine is diagnosed as unrepairable (bad motherboard, drowned laptop), the diagnostic fee ($10–20) applies and Peak Labs will walk you through the options. No work happens until you approve a quote, so there are no surprise bills.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. If a repair fails within 30 days from the same root cause, Peak Labs redoes it free.
Where exactly is the shop?
It's a private shop on a residential property in Xenia. The address isn't posted publicly. When you book an appointment, it's sent to you directly.
