A small shop with a clear answer for every quote.
Peak Labs is run by one person, out of a private shop in Xenia. No counter, no waiting room, no high-school-job upsell scripts. Just clean repairs at fair prices.
Why appointment-only
Most repair shops have you stand at a counter, fill out a paper ticket, and wait three days for someone to even look at your computer. Appointments fix that. You get a real time slot, your machine moves to the front of the line, and you hear back the same day with a quote.
Why summer-only
I'm in school the rest of the year. Running a shop seasonally means I can give every job real attention from late May through mid-August — and not pretend I can in November when I can't. If you find me in season, you get the real thing.
Where the prices come from
No rent, no franchise fee, no manager taking a cut. The prices on the Services page are honestly what it costs me to do the work plus a fair margin. Parts get marked up just enough to cover sourcing — usually 15–25% over my cost, which is way under the 60–100% that big chains run.
What I won't do
- Sell you a service you don't need.
- Take on a job I can't deliver in 1–3 days.
- Hide a fee in the fine print.
- Charge for a diagnostic if you go ahead with the repair.
